Activity Overview

Most resorts on the island, including Bayu Lestari Island Resort, Aseania Resort, and D’Coconut Island Resort, offer bike rentals for visitors. Renting a bike allows you to discover various parts of the island, from tranquil beaches and lush jungle areas to the island’s main village, Kampung Pulau Besar, where you can experience traditional Malay life and see wooden stilt houses. The island is relatively small, making it perfect for leisurely rides along coastal roads with stunning views of turquoise waters, as well as for venturing off the beaten path to find hidden coves, secluded beaches, and local eateries.

Popular cycling routes include coastal rides and trips to historical landmarks such as old Malay settlements. Cycling also provides an eco-friendly way to enjoy the natural surroundings and is suitable for families and groups. The terrain is generally manageable, though some roads may be narrow and bumpy, so sturdy bikes and moderate fitness are recommended. Overall, cycling on Pulau Babi Besar offers a relaxing and immersive way to experience the island’s charm, culture, and natural attractions.
